Catch a TRYP
Terms & Conditions, Safety Rules, and Liability Disclosure
Effective Date: June 1st, 2026
Welcome to Catch a TRYP. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our street-legal Low-Speed Vehicle (“LSV”) transportation services throughout Downtown Orlando. By booking, paying for, or riding with Catch a TRYP, each passenger acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Transportation Services
Catch a TRYP provides transportation services using street-legal Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs) within our designated Downtown Orlando service area. All rides are subject to vehicle availability, weather conditions, traffic, road closures, vehicle capacity, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
2. Passenger Safety Rules
Passenger safety is our highest priority. Every passenger must comply with the following rules at all times:
● Remain seated while the vehicle is in motion.
● Wear seat belts properly whenever provided and required by law.
● Keep hands, arms, feet, and personal belongings inside the vehicle at all times while it is moving.
● Do not stand, change seats, climb on, or lean outside the vehicle.
● Do not distract or interfere with the driver.
● Follow all driver instructions immediately.
● Do not exceed the vehicle’s maximum passenger capacity.
● Children must be properly supervised and secured in accordance with Florida law.
● No horseplay, fighting, throwing objects, or disruptive behavior.
● No abusive, threatening, or disorderly conduct.
● No smoking, vaping, open flames, or ignition devices.
● No littering or disposal of trash from the vehicle.
● Enter and exit the vehicle only when instructed by the driver.
Failure to comply with these safety rules may result in immediate termination of the ride without refund.
3. Drugs and Alcohol Policy
To ensure the safety of all passengers and drivers:
● Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia are strictly prohibited.
● Alcoholic beverages, including open containers, are prohibited unless specifically permitted by applicable law and authorized by Catch a TRYP.
● Any passenger who appears excessively intoxicated, impaired, or creates an unsafe environment may be refused service or removed from the vehicle without refund.
4. Passenger Conduct
Passengers agree to behave respectfully toward the driver, other passengers, and the public.
Catch a TRYP reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if a passenger:
● Creates a safety hazard.
● Violates these Terms & Conditions.
● Harasses or threatens the driver or other passengers.
● Damages company property.
● Engages in illegal conduct.
● Refuses to follow driver instructions.
5. Damage to Vehicle
Passengers are financially responsible for any damage they intentionally or negligently cause to the vehicle or its equipment.
This includes, but is not limited to:
● Broken seats
● Torn upholstery
● Broken seat belts
● Broken mirrors
● Broken lights
● Damaged doors or body panels
● Damaged accessories
● Graffiti or vandalism
● Food or beverage spills requiring professional cleaning
● Vomit or bodily fluid contamination
● Damage resulting from reckless or inappropriate passenger behavior
The responsible passenger agrees to reimburse Catch a TRYP for all reasonable costs associated with repair, replacement, cleaning, administrative processing, and loss of vehicle use while repairs are being completed. Charges will be based on the actual repair or replacement cost, as determined by the owner and/or an authorized repair provider.
6. Lost or Stolen Property
Passengers are solely responsible for their personal belongings.
Catch a TRYP is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property left in, on, or around the vehicle.
7. Assumption of Risk and Liability
Travel by Low-Speed Vehicle involves inherent risks, including but not limited to sudden stops, turns, uneven road surfaces, weather conditions, traffic, the actions of other motorists, and acts of God.
By using Catch a TRYP’s services, passengers voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with transportation by LSV, including risks arising from acts of God and other events beyond the reasonable control of Catch a TRYP.
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Catch a TRYP, its owners, employees, drivers, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from:
● A passenger’s failure to follow safety instructions.
● The actions or misconduct of another passenger or third party.
● Traffic conditions.
● Road conditions.
● Weather conditions.
● Acts of God.
● Circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Catch a TRYP.
Nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
8. Driver Authority
For the safety of everyone on board, the driver has final authority regarding passenger safety.
The driver may refuse service, terminate a ride, or require any passenger to exit the vehicle if the passenger violates these Terms & Conditions or creates an unsafe situation.
9. Weather, Traffic, and Delays
Trips may be delayed, rerouted, suspended, or canceled due to weather, traffic, road closures, construction, accidents, public events, emergencies, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Estimated arrival times are not guaranteed.
10. Compliance with Laws
Passengers agree to comply with all applicable federal, Florida, and local laws while using Catch a TRYP’s services.
11. Right to Refuse Service
Catch a TRYP reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service whenever reasonably necessary to protect the safety of passengers, drivers, company property, or the general public.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, paying for, or riding with Catch a TRYP, each passenger acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions, Safety Rules, and Liability Disclosure and agree to comply with all driver instructions throughout the ride.
13. Electronic Signature and Digital Consent
By checking the required box, clicking "Accept," or completing a booking through our digital platform, you acknowledge and agree that your electronic checkbox constitutes a legally binding signature. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement. This electronic consent carries the same legal weight, validity, and enforceability as a handwritten signature under Florida law and the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce (E-SIGN) Act.
14. Multi-Passenger Responsibility and Group Indemnification
The primary individual booking the ride ("Host Customer") acknowledges that they are acting as the authorized representative for all passengers included in their party, booking, or group. By checking the agreement box, the Host Customer certifies that they have informed all other passengers in their group of these Terms & Conditions, Safety Rules, and Liability Disclosures. The Host Customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Catch a TRYP from any liability, claims, or damages caused by any member of their party, and agrees that all passengers in their party are equally bound by these terms.
